Enjoy breakfast at your own pace without having to head out first thing.
Our breakfast basket includes yoghurt, muesli, toast & preserves, juice, fresh fruit and a little breakfast treat, along with tea and coffee.
Please order by 5pm the evening before.

Arriving after a long drive? Put your feet up and have a little something waiting for you.
A tasty selection of cheese, crackers, seasonal fruit, chutney and something sweet - perfect with a drink before heading out for the evening.

Don't buy a spade you'll only use once - grab one of ours!

Been travelling for a while? Let us tackle the washing.
LAUNDRY SERVICE - $25 PER BASKET
Bring one basket of laundry to the office by 8:30am and we'll wash and dry it for you.
Laundry is returned clean and dry, but not folded.
Prefer to do your own? Head up to Baywash on Monk Street, where you'll find self-service washing and drying facilities.

Leave the driving to us and discover some of our favourite places around the Coromandel.
Our Coastal Highlights Tour is deliberately small, relaxed and personal - no big tour bus and no rushing from stop to stop.
APPROX. 4 HOURS
Depending on tides, weather and access, our tour takes in some of the Coromandel's highlights:
· Hot Water Beach - visit our famous geothermal beach.
· Hahei & Cathedral Cove - discover one of New Zealand's most beautiful stretches of coastline.
· Cooks Beach - take in this gorgeous local beach.
· Shakespeare Cliff - enjoy some of the best coastal views around Whitianga.
· Ferry Landing - finish across the harbour, with the option of catching the passenger ferry back into Whitianga.
We'll share some local knowledge along the way and show you some of the places we love about living here.

YOUR STAY AT ALBERT NO.6 CHECK-IN
Your room is available from 2pm.
We offer easy self check-in, so if Reception is unattended, check the whiteboard beside the office for your name and room number.
Your key will be waiting in your room door.
Need us? Use the video-call button at Reception or contact us and we'll help.
CHECKOUT
Checkout is 10am.
When you leave, simply leave your key in your room door. Easy!
FREE WI-FI & NETFLIX
Free Wi-Fi and Netflix are available for our guests. Put your feet up and make yourself at home.
FOOD IN YOUR ROOM
For safety reasons, cooking is not permitted in motel rooms.
Your microwave is there for reheating food only. Personal cooking appliances and open flames cannot be used in the rooms.
Luckily, you're only a short walk from plenty of great cafes, restaurants and takeaways.
BBQ COURTYARD
Our outdoor BBQ courtyard is available for guests from 8:30am - 9pm.
Please leave the area tidy for the next guests.
We also have a wood-fired pizza oven - ask us if you'd like to use it.
YES, YOU CAN DRINK THE WATER!
Water from your bathroom tap and the BBQ-area tap is safe to drink. Fill your water bottle before heading out for the day.
AFTER 9PM
We want everyone to get a good night's sleep. Please keep noise down after 9pm, particularly around the courtyard, balconies and outside the rooms.
PARK IT & FORGET IT
One of the best things about staying at Albert No.6 is our location.
Buffalo Beach is just a minute away, while cafes, restaurants, shops and central Whitianga are all an easy stroll.
Park the car, kick off the jandals and enjoy Whitianga on foot.
Parking spaces are numbered for motel rooms. If you have a particularly large vehicle, please talk to us about the easiest place to park.

BEACHES, WALKS & EXPLORING BUFFALO BEACH
Practically on our doorstep. Walk, swim, relax or just sit and watch the world go by. In summer, look out for the Banana Boat rides.
BUFFALO BEACH ROAD WALK
Flat, easy and beautiful. Perfect for an early morning or evening wander along the waterfront.
CATCH THE FERRY
Take the passenger ferry across to Ferry Landing and Front Beach. From there, wander towards Eggsentric Cafe, explore the area or head up towards Shakespeare Cliff Lookout for fantastic views.

Continue around to Cooks Beach and beautiful Flaxmill Bay before looping back towards Whitianga.

Fancy another adventure?
Cruise over the hill to Luke's Kitchen in Kuaotunu for their famous wood-fired pizzas.
Then follow Blackjack Road out to picture-perfect Otama Beach - one of our absolute favourite stretches of sand.
Keep rolling and you'll reach laid-back Matarangi Beach.
Sun, sand and pizza. Hard to argue with that combination.
COROMANDEL TOWN
Head across to Coromandel Town for a completely different side of the peninsula.
Explore the town, enjoy the scenery and hunt down some fresh local oysters and mussels.
Sun, slices and shellfish - job done.
